Plot: The Shaw Brothers studio was known for its excellent production values and commitment to quality in an era when films in Hong Kong were made quickly and cheaply. Part of the genius of the Shaw studio was the manner in which it matched up its various stars into fruitful and lasting combinations. Perhaps the most famous and successful of those combinations was the Five Venoms--Lo Meng, Sun Chien, Chiang Sheng, Kuo Choi, and Lu Feng.
